The Editor
Colección began on social platforms in 2018, sparked by a desire to share creative perspectives. In 2025, the first printed edition will be released under the name Colección, from digital to hold the magazine in your hands.
We are an archive of present-day creations—we remember the past in order to envision the future. We tell the kinds of stories that require effort to uncover and highlight creativity in all its forms. We aim to move beyond codified screens and speak to an audience in search of connection. With a curatorial gaze, we create proximity and welcome interpretation.
More than a curated archive, Colección is a platform in constant evolution, bringing together artists, filmmakers, curators, museums, galleries, podcasts, and researchers of art and truth. We search for the right words to carry the creations of human sensitivity. This is a space under construction—of narratives and images—where lived experiences intersect, creating new visions by exploring the distance between what is done and what is felt.
In the constant process of building, new sections, new contributors, and new questions will continue to emerge—faithful to our philosophy: to trace, archive, and expand the sensitive networks of our time.
